Summary
We the people: A furniture maker and former fighter pilot talks about the advice he gives to young men who wish to become aviation cadets. A young girl talks about her work testing sample parts for planes, and incorporating reports from engineers in the field about the integrity of the plane designs in actual combat situations. A 61-year old Chinese man who was a cook in the navy for thirty years is re-enlisting. A 5-year old honorary navy recruiter and 11-year-old honorary regiment captain are interviewed. A drama takes a look at what happens when a fire breaks out in a tank; one of the actual soldiers in the tank is interviewed by Dowling. Elmer Davis and the news: War bulletins from Elmer Davis include headlines from around the world
