- Eddie Dowling interviews Arthur Menken about his trip to the Pacific and discusses Japan and Corregidor. Marshall Field III interviews 12 orphans who are calling themselves "The Rhythm Rascals" and they perform "Joshua" on pots, pans and tin horns. Marshall Field III talks about the life of a millionaire. Eddie Dowling interviews two 17-year olds and a 47-year old veteran who are enlisting in the U.S. Army. Dinah Shore is introduced by her big sister and sings "Hurry home." Gov. Leverett Saltsonstall discusses his discovery that Massachusetts had not signed the Bill of Rights and the process by which he corrected the omission
