- Summary
- The Jergens journal: A four engine bomber crashed in Oregon. The nation's largest tax bill will reach the nation's capital by July 15. The eastern gasoline shortage will not be permanent. Four destroyers were launched in 50 minutes from New Jersey. The Brazilian government arrested 200 hundred Axis agents who were in the process of destroying a broadcast station. Battle of Burma is not yet lost. If Allied forces continue to grow at present rates they will be as superior to Hitler as Hitler was to Poland by next year, reports indicate that German shortages are so severe that certain parts of the empire can't even send the Luftwaffe into the air for lack of fuel. Naval hero, Dorrie Miller is predicted to get a Congressional Medal of Honor (the first to be awarded to a citizen of Harlem)
