Summary
The Jergens journal: London reports that 40,000 Nazis have been killed in the last ten days. The Saturday Evening Post is accused of being "un-American." The U.S. is going to buy 400 million pounds of sugar from Martinique. The financial backers of subversive groups will be required to furnish donor names for every dollar involved with their activities. The Germans are sending troops with only 6 weeks training to Russia - many of whom are only 16 or 17 year old boys. According to Winchell the right people are finally being charged with libel around the nation, and notes that a libel case against him has been dropped because the plaintiff is unable to appear due to an arrest for burglary
