Summary
Second husband (sponsored by Bayer): Chuck has just returned from the war and is physically okay, but socially withdrawn. Bright horizon (sponsored by Swan): At McCary's war plant, Brian West and Penny Sullivan talk about the unfortunate waste of war materials. We who dream (sponsored by Englander): Helen and Warren, shipwrecked off the coast of Oregon, are rescued by an aircraft carrier, but find the ship deserted. They find an ancient Greek scroll describing how an eternal curse had been placed on a Roman centurion after he assassinated Emperor Hadrian. When Helen wakes up from her nightmare, she learns that Pearl Harbor has just been attacked
