1044, part I: A story about Bishop Stanislaus of Krakow who was one of the few willing to stand up to the despot King Boleslaus of Poland. 1045, part I: Lucy was given permission by her mother to become a nun during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, who was persecuting Christians. Emperor Diocletian sentenced Lucy to be defiled in a brothel, but was killed by the man who betrayed her in order to save her from that fate
