Summary
Tales from far and near series ran on Thursdays. In this episode, Van Doren discusses radio and education by sound on the fifteenth anniversary of the program. Following his introduction, an adaptation of a book by Graham and Lipscomb on the life of Dr. George Washington Carver. This living world series ran on Fridays and featured dramas and discussions of contemporary life. In this episode, Lyman Bryson discusses what the program has accomplished during its run on its 15th anniversary.
