He then narrates the stories behind several of this songs and introduces the performers. New horizons series ran on Wednesdays and featured American explorers. In this episode, a dramatization of the history of Turkey ranging from Suleiman the Magnificent to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who overthrew the Sultanate and made the Ottoman Empire into the Turkey we know today
