Summary
Tales from far and near series ran on Thursdays. In this episode, a dramatized radio adaptation of the famous farmer, Indian fighter, congressman and defender of the Alamo, Davy Crockett; with folk music. This living world series ran on Fridays and featured dramas and discussions of contemporary life. In this episode, an original radio play featuring a principal of a rural school district and two of his students on their visit to a consolidated school district where they learn how education will take place in the future. Followed by a panel discussion made up of students from the High School of Music and Arts in New York City who discuss total federal control of education
